Vintage Seth Thomas Mantel Clock Westminster ChimesWe are listing this vintage seth thomas bracket clock which measures approx 14 1/2 tall to top of handle, 10 7/8 wide and 7 1/4 deep at base, in running condition. Case is wood with walnut veneer in nice condition with the exception of bottom left ribbon of case which has 2 places where veneer missing but has been stained to match the case. oFund enough veneer in bottom of case to cover the larger place. Alos back right hand corner has a small piece of veneer missing. Dial apperas to be brass with raised corner ornamentation. Silver dial ring is raised with romna numerals and is marked seth thomas, made in u. S. A. Movement is marked made in germany fro seth thomas clocks, thomaston, conn. U. S. A. With the numbers a400-001 and 5703 under that. Paper instructions on how to set up clock adn proper maintenance is still intact on inside of back door. Westminster chimes strkies every 1/4 hr on tuned rods which are mounted inside rear case. Also counts hour on the strike. I believe the pendulum adn key are original. I prefer payment to be made with a usps postal money order or check due to high cost of paypal but will accept paypal if need be. U. S.
