Rare Sangamo Electromechanical Clock

Sangamo clock measures 10 tall by 10 wide by 3 1/2 deep. Clock face measurse 6 by 4 1/2, face appears to be made of brushed steel with roman numerals. This is the only clock i've ever seen with this type of electromechanical design. The electricity powers the spring for a mechanical movement.

I'm not sure of the exact age, but would assume it si a very early electric clock. The design would make it immune to power outages which is probably the intent.
The clock spring is winding when electricity is applied, but the mechanical clock will nto keep running. It probably needs a good cleaning/adjustment at a clock shop.
It was running when i first acquired it about 15 years ago, but has been in storage for the last 10 years. The case appears to be mahogany with burled veneer on the front, and has nicks and scratches, some wear in the finish.
Also oen of the feet is missing, and the knob on the time set shaft is missing. Bottom has metal plate screwed on that says sangamo clock no. L27960, type a-7, style 4701,110 volts, 60 cycles, patents applied for, sangamo electric company, sprinfield, illinois, usa. Thansk for looking.
