Rare Lux Beer Drinkers Novelty Shelf Clock
Up for auction is this rare lux beer drnikers clock. This is the rarer shelf version of this clock the more common type benig a pendulette wall clock.
Clock measures 5 tall and 3 1/2 wide the syroco wood front features a couple of smiling gentlemen enjoying a big mug of foaming beer that is resting on a whiskey barrelthe dial is found in the barrel ( see pictures ) the dial is signed made in u. S. A. The case is metal and signed pats. Pending in the backthere is an easel type stand.
Clock was made in the 1930's and is in good shape. There is some normal wear ( see pictures ) but overall it's in pretty good shape.Clock is running well but there are no guarantees as it could stop running at any time, ofr any reason, due to the age of the clock.
