Here for your bidding is a beautiful cast brass chelsea 8 day time only radio room clock. The clokc is running strong and keeping time. The engraevd silvered brass dial is 6 in. Has a second hour hand to set for for another time zone.

Serial number 297084 is stamped on the movement and on the case dating it to the 1940's. The sinking of the titanic brought about many changes in ship and land based radio. Resulting in the radio act of 1912. Which required aorund the clock radio watches. Later on this clock was developed os all ships radio rooms would stay silent at about the same time to listen for destress signals twice every hour at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions.
