Here are this weeks highlites item you are bidding on a circa 1930's40's art deco period machine age stylish and decorative clock by westclox. A stylish and modernist jet black glass caes with dramatic art deco fonted numerals. Classic streamlined industrial style is the result. Measures 5 1/3 tall and 7 1/2 across the model is the ben franklin this works perfectly keeps time and runs quietly and smoothly as designed. Cosmetically it is really fine but the glass bezel should be cleaned on the inside as it has some dust and cloudiness. The metal numeral ring and feet have some oxidation and could be polished if desired? No chips dings or concerns the old cord looks to be clean and is un-frayed as seen this baby gleams and is really in a fine state of preservation. Condition excellent as seen ~~ a working fine example as seen. |
